Yoga and walking both are really beneficial for health.
Yoga practice is different from exercise. For a person with sedentary lifestyle, walking for 30 min to 45 minutes is very good exercise. On the other hand yoga practice provides you with much desired relaxation and rejuvenating the mind body complex.
Benefits of Morning Walk:

2.Walking in the morning removes the “I’ll do it later” excuse.
3.Walking in the morning creates a routine or a healthy habit that we will start to do without going through the endless mental process of questioning whether or not you “feel” like exercising. By walking in the morning, you get your exercise out of the way first thing in your day. You have no time for if you get out the door and do the walking soon after you wake up and start your day.
4.Walking in the morning has social benefits.
One of the great aspects of walking is that it can be extremely social. Even though a brisk walk can be strenuous, it is usually possible to carry on a conversation with other people while walking. Because we all share the need to stay healthy, walking is an excellent way to spend time with friends and family by doing something together that is good for everyone.

1. Scientific data reveals that yoga is a better mood elevator than walking. GABA level in the brain controls the production and secretion of serotonin (the happy hormone) in humans. Decrease in serotonin is a major reason behind depression, mood disorders and even anxiety.

3.Yoga would be a better option to kick start your day. This is because it takes care of your mind, body and soul.
In fact the added benefit of yoga is that it cures some peculiar illnesses like:
1. Asthma- pranayam and anulom-vulom are the long term cures if you want to live without inhalers.
2. Diabetes- the triangle pose can be helpful in controlling the blood sugar levels.
3. Hypertension- meditation is you key! The pranayams can be useful here.
4. Migraine- Oh those headaches! If you want to get rid of them try sirsasana or complete headstand. This will increase the blood supply to the brain.
